No, this is NOT a traditional group plan or an Association Health Plan. This is health coverage for individuals/families, small groups, and employers of all sizes (we can start with one W2 employee to unlimited) looking to offer HRA programs to their employees. Perfect for those who do not have access to traditional corporate plans like independent contractors, small business owners, self-employed, elite athletes, 1099 workers, part-time staff, and any other individual, family, or small group (less than 50) that needs access to health insurance, as well as businesses looking to move away from traditional group health plans.

HRA Programs (Health Reimbursement Arrangements - HRAs) Options: HRAs are a type of account-based health plan that employers can use to reimburse employees for their medical care expenses with pretax money. This permits employers to offer a new “Individual Coverage HRA” as an alternative to traditional group health plan coverage or a more comprehensive excepted-benefit HRA and “Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement” (QSEHRA). HRAs can be used to reimburse premiums for individual health insurance chosen by the employee, promoting employee and employer flexibility, while maintaining the same tax-favored status for employer contribution towards a traditional group health plan. The HRA programs can now be used to cover many types of employees, including part-time, seasonal, hourly, salary, full-time, and several other classes. There are specific rules on how and when an HRA can be used in the business to offer health benefits to employees, but this is straight forward, and the team at LIG can help you set up these programs and keep you compliant while saving money and offering health insurance benefits to your employees (many who would not qualify under a traditional group plan).

This program is an exclusive concierge service that brings together all the traditional health coverage benefits like major medical, short term policies, vision, dental, critical care, and supplemental coverage, to name a few as well as the Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) options including plan administration. If you go to Healthcare.gov, you can only get major medical, and you would have to go to several other sources to build a program that might be close to what we can offer your members and their employees. Agents will also make sure that doctors and prescriptions will be in network.

We do not use any one insurance carrier exclusively as not every carrier is available in each state/region. We will be able to build custom plans for your members that include major medical, short term options, vision, dental and many health-related supplemental options (think Aflac type programs) to cover the unique needs of your members.
